Wow, what an experience this has already been! From the multiple airports and planes, to the culture shock, it is looking to be a very life changing and beautiful experience.
The people we have met already have turned into friends and it feels like a family has already been forming through His love and with open arms. Both the other Lindsey and I were taken on a beautiful walk down the strip by the beach and got to see only a glimpse of this glorious country. I look forward to seeing and experiencing much more that this country has to offer!
We all just participated in a bilingual communion and worship service as a peaceful and fitting way to bring this evening to a close. The music was from the heart and you could feel the passion no matter what language the song was sung in .
With most of us worn out, it is soon to be the end of the evening but not without a sense of excitement and hope for the next few weeks. If this is any glimpse of what the rest of this trip will be like, none of us will walk away quite the same.
Thanks,
Lindsay R.
Glad y'all are there. Tell Carrie to relax and have fun.

What more can a person (or a parent) ask for? Sounds like a LONG and GLORIOUS first day. I know God will work through each and every one of you and through the group as a whole to change lives, but as Lindsay said, you will certainly each be changed yourselves by this experience in a good and God way. Love ys!
ReplyDeletePraising God for what He is already doing in each of your lives (Spirit filled message from Lindsey C.... thanks!!) and for all the blessings yet to come. YAY God!
