Home Sweet Home away from Home!

Greetings families back over there!

We are here! Alive and well, though some should have taken more Airborne when I offered it. They will have to suffer with stuffy noses from the planes...

Here are a few photos from our hotel, right on the water. The last flight was delayed. We sat waiting for the final plane to take off for about an hour, which delayed us an hour. Last minute communication last night did not get through to our connections in Recife, so we finally met up about 2:45! We exchanged some money to Real (pronounced hay-al) and then crammed in the van for a drive to the hotel through the city. Current exchange is R$1.91 for $1.00 USD so its better than last year!  whoo!

We are resting at the moment and dinner is at 7:30 with our new friends and team leaders.

The hotel is really nice and will be perfect for the next 10 days, plenty to explore in this safe section of the city.

David is working with Andressa on a plan of action (or at least an idea) so we can see the schedule ahead of time. I'll pick this back up tonight.

Thanks everyone for the love and support along this journey and now as we prepare to provide our talents to the community that needs us.
